JOIN US FOR THE, 9TH ANNUAL LIL’ ANGLER’S FISHING RODEO. PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE SHORTEST, LONGEST AND THE MOST FISH CAUGHT. ALL BASS OVER 3LBS. MUST BE RELEASED BACK INTO THE LAKE.  FOR THE FIRST TIME ANY FISH OVER 1LB AND UP TO 3LBS, MAY BE  KEPT.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR. THIS WEEKEND WILL BE FILLED WITH SPRING IN MIND.  HOW ABOUT KITE FLYING, BALL GAMES, SPRING CRAFTS AND SO MUCH MORE?

APRIL 1-3                 THUNDER ON THE Lake

OK GANG, WE ARE GOING TO TRY THIS, NEW ACTIVITY. BRING YOUR RC RACING BOAT’S OUT THIS WEEKEND FOR OUR FIRST ANNUAL THUNDER ON THE LAKE BOAT RACES. GAS POWERED RC BOATS ARE WELCOMED, AS WELL AS, BATTERY POWERED BOATS. TROPHIES WILL BE AWARDED. WE HAVE THE PERFECT LAKE FOR THIS, SO HELP ME OUT, AND LETS GET IT DONE.

APRIL 8-10                FIRE SAFETY WEEKEND

STOP, DROP, ROLL. LAKE CHARLES FIRE DEPARTMENT WIlL BE HERE (provided they do not have an emergency) WITH their FIRE truck and SAfety tips for young and old.

APRIL 15-17              game show weekend

you may do good in front of the tv but lets see how well you do in person. we are going to play family feud, the newlywed game, jepordy, pictionary and more games to keep us laughing.

APRIL 22-24               easter weekend

              (2 night minimum and holiday rates apply)

hop on over for an eggciting weekend. We will have 3 easter egg hunts for the different age groups. the easter bunny will be under the pavilion to hand out easter baskets. parents bring your child’s filled basket to the ranger station with the child’s name and site # on it. children will also need to bring one hard boiled egg (per child) to decorate for saturday morning arts & crafts.

APRIL 29- MAY 1      pirate weekend

ahoy, mateys how about some pirate fun this weekend. make ranger bill walk the plank and if you can make him fall in you win a prize. dress up for karaoke and let’s boogie on down pirate style.

MAY 6-8               mother’s day weekend

if you love your mom take her camping, if you love your mom take her camping, if you love your mom take her camping at yogi bear park in lake charles. mom this weekend is all about you, you, you. take time to relax and enjoy the fun events we have planned for you. sunday morning pancake breakfast $$$.

MAY 13-15          redneck/cajun weekend

hey ya’ll, come on over for some cajun/redneck horseshoes, and other off the wall fun games. dress in your finest cajun/redneck attire for a hoe down at karaoke saturday night. you know you’re a redneck if ………

MAY 20-22               backyard carnival

step right up folks! dunk the short, fat, bald headed man, face painting, backyard carnival games ($$), clowns and so much more fun.

mAY 27-30         memorial day weekend

this is one weekned you don’t want to miss. three fun filled days of wet and wild games, family softball game, and so much more.

JUNE 3-5                WESTERN WEEKEND

hOWDY PARTNER, DID SOMEONE SAY THERE’S A SHOOTOUT OVER AT JELLYSTONE PARK? COME OVER AND SEE WHAT ALL THE EXCITEMENT IS ABOUT, THERE WILL BE PONY RIDES ($$) BEAN CAN SHOOTOUT, LINE DANCING, COW MILKING AND MORE FUN WESTERN GAMES.

JUNE 10-12         wet and wild weekend

just like the title says wet and wild. there will be so much fun this weekend you won’t be able to stay dry. canoe races, belly flop contest, pool games and so much more.

JUNE 17-19         father’s day weekend

ok dads, this is your weekend to shine. play mini golf with the kids, pool bingo, and other fun games. sunday morining pancake breakfast ($$)

JUNE 24-26              retro weekend

bring back the old days, dress the 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90. how much do you remember about them good ole days? how bout a little trivia to see? dress up in your favorite year and come to karaoke for a night to remember.

JULY 1-4              fourth of july weekend

red, white, blue and you weeknd. uncle bill needs you, yes that’s right uncle bill needs you here to celebrate the 4th of july with fire works (it gets better every year) and karaoke saturday night. plenty of summer games and activities to keep the whole family busy.

JULY 8-10            BAR-B-QUE LOVERS WEEKEND

LADIES AND GENTS START YOUR PITS AND SEE WHO CAN REALLY BAR-B-QUE. pRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO 1ST, 2ND AND 3RD PLACE WINNERS. LOTS OF FUN ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR THIS WEEKEND.

JULY 22-24                christmas in july

here comes santa claus, here comes santa claus, right down jellystone lane. get out the christmas decorations and decorate those rvs and cabins and win a prize. parents bring your child a wrapped gift with their name and site number on it and santa claus will be here to hand out the present. how about cooling off with a snowball fight and other christmas games and activities.

JULY 29-31        chocolate lovers weekend

oh yeah, this is my favorite. chocolate slip-n-slide, chocolate arts and crafts, chocolate milk chugging, chocolate ice cream social ($$) chocolate everything. yummy don’t miss out on this one.

AUGUST 5-7         WACKY WEDNESDAY WEEKEND

YOU’VE HEARD OF WACKY WEDNESDAY, SO LETS MAKE A WHOLE WEEKEND OUT OF IT. WACKY OUTFITS ARE A MUST THIS WEEKEND, FOR ADULTS AND KIDS. WE’LL HAVE PLENTY OF WACKY GAMES, AND ARTS AND CRAFTS, AND A WHOLE LOT MORE.

AUGUST 12-14            WASHER TOURNAMENT

IF YOU HAVE NEVER PLAYED WASHERS THEN YOU NEED TO COME EXPERIENCE A FUN GAME FOR ADULTS. DON’T WORRY KIDS THERE WILL BE PLENTY FUN AND GAMES FOR YOU THIS WEEKEND TOO.
